What I remember is the web page not moving and the promise of bringing together buyers and sellers and saying "coming soon". I did but could not remember the name. my nasdaq costs were far higher so I only traded small positions in nasdaq stocks. I remember people calling our office to see if they could daytrade... as they had just made hundreds of thousands holding cmgi, amazon, yahoo. Yahoo was the trader for a while. it was like nasdaq stocks were their to take money from wall street and give it to small investors for a year or two. which is why all the rules got changed.
How about famous new one - FB on SecondMarket it was 22 dollars for a year then 3 months before the IPO SecondMarket sold it for 28-38 dollars per share. So the median price on FB should be between 21 and 30 dollars per share... I bought 19.00 september 14th calls when the price was 18.00 http://www.google.com/finance?client=ob&q=NASDAQ:FB
