  1. Where is the 'value' to be unlocked from the likes of Big Lots or Dollar General?

This is a classic example of private equity fools having way too much money on their hands, that they have to use to buy anything that might be for sale.

Big Lots and Dollar General. lmao.

    Private equity Darwinism.

haha...you've invented a new buzz term.

  3. the value might be in the fact that you dont have to answer ?s every week, how come we are paying you? and you are not even close to being fully vested.

  4. Maybe.

Time will tell if these types of acquisitions are smart or not.

Since we all form our own opinions based on what we know and see, my admittedly limited knowledge tells me I'd only do these terrible deals with OPM, and even then, I'd feel guilty.

Scratch that. I have a conscience and want to have a chance at maintaining a reputation of integrity. I wouldn't even do these deals with OPM.
