Bidentards try to rob man, get taught lesson on life

  1. I think he saw something in the way the kid was holding it and the way he put it out so far into his space. IN martial arts, that over extension of the lead hand or weapon makes it really easy to parry and then execute a take down or..... body slam.

But I dont' know if the guy had training but he certainly made a move like he did and knew if he moved fast the kid was going to get dropped quick (i.e. the gun was for show and he was too much of a pussy to use it).

I am sure he noticed the other kid backed off fast and was too much of a pussy to help his whining like a bitch friend.

Beating wouldn't have been (legally) justified in that scenario, imo.

He could have restrained him, as he retrieve the 'gun;' and continue to restrain him until police arrive. (Sometimes, a restraint can lead to broken bones and/or torn ligaments.)

In North Carolina -- based on past legal cases -- beating an armed robber unconscious after you take the gun away from them without using a weapon to beat them (like a bat) appears to never invoke charges being filed. Assuming you stop hitting them once they are not conscious.

But I ain't a legal expert -- this is just an observation after watching this down here for over 30 years. I don't think you could find a jury to convict someone who took away a robbers gun and beat them unconscious with their bare hands.

This may be the case when both the victim and assailant are White. Even so, I'd prefer to break something. This impairs their ability to attack; and doesn't roll the dice with the judicial system.

Some people can take a "beating," and some people can recover after a short while. I'll always play it safe by using submission holds, and breaking stuff if they resist.

I'm not in grade school anymore, and don't hit the gym like I used to. I don't want to potentially be rolling around in the dirt with some asshole for several minutes; or walking in circles with some asshole that's too afraid to engage, but unwilling to walk away.

    Proper risk and time management.

This group of kids were on a multi-crime spree. This incident with the attempted car jacking caught on video is just one of their crimes over a period of hours. If this adult had knocked this juvenile criminal out and called the cops then he could have saved others from being victims. Or possibly not -- because "They were later released to their guardians only to be accused of committing yet another attempted carjacking in San Leandro on Friday." So much for their guardians providing any oversight. These "children" are a gang of four; including a 11-year-old, a 12-year-old and two 14-year-olds. Thanks to their "guardians" they are out committing a string of violent crimes using a stolen car for transport.

CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Child body-slammed while attempting to carjack man at gunpoint

Home surveillance video captured intense moments when children apparently tried to carjack a man outside of his home in San Leandro, Calif., a suburb 10 miles southeast of Oakland.

San Leandro police told NewsNation affiliate KRON the suspects approached the victim with a gun, but the victim stopped them when he body-slammed one of the suspects to the ground.

Police say these two suspects were later involved in another attempted carjacking that got four children, ages 11-14, arrested last week.

Chicago police see spike in juveniles arrested for murder

Mary Aima lives nearby, and told KRON’s Taylor Bisacky she noticed something suspicious when the suspects parked their car in the middle of the road.

She says she then became terrified when they ran towards her neighbor with a gun, but probably the most shocking part was the age of these suspects.

“It was very scary. We were actually home at the time, so yeah it was scary. A lot of the neighbors were a little alarmed,” Aima said.

San Leandro police say just six hours before this incident, the same young suspects tried to rob a man at a Chase Bank ATM.

They say the victim scared them off by claiming to be an off-duty officer.

However, the suspects didn’t stop there.

Just a couple of days later on April 13, Oakland police arrested three juveniles accused of being involved in an attempted robbery using the same white getaway car.

They were later released to their guardians only to be accused of committing yet another attempted carjacking in San Leandro on Friday.

San Leandro police responded and caught up with the suspects in Oakland.

    They arrested an 11-year-old, a 12-year-old and two 14-year-olds.

Two of the same suspects are accused of also being involved in this incident and the Chase bank attempted robbery.

“It’s sad. It’s really sad to me what’s going on with the younger children doing things like this,” Aima said.

In all of these cases, the suspects were connected by multiple surveillance videos and using the same getaway car each time.

Police say the cases have been referred to the Alameda County Juvenile Justice Center for prosecution.

  10. When I see this news I am so conflicted.... part of me wants them caught and thrown in prison for years, part of me feels for them since they are kids and some adults who should know better probably taught them this to the point of brainwashing them and those adults should go to prison while the kids be evaluated to see if they can be reformed from such a shitty upbringing. It is clear to see they are afraid to actually use the gun and got scared when confronted. 1 year in juvy and some actual love could make them see their caregivers abused and lied to them and forced them into this while the pussy adults stayed home.
