I hear you, but personally, I feel comfortable that the decisions they make will be better than the decisions two judges appointed by Hillary would have made.

Thats a good thing though. That means they were good choices if you think about it.

  3. Well I am happy they vote according to the law and precedent and are consistent regardless of who nominated them so yes they does show the judges adhering to the law first and not politics. Politics is all over the nomination process but should be no where near the actual hearing and deliberation of cases (though that would be too idealistic in today's climate...).

  4. Trump says Biden is low IQ.

    Keepin it pithy.

Helmets on. Gonna bloody this time around, again.

And Trump is just a spectator to this dem primary thing and is able to make shots here and there and then go do something else. More difficult when you are also involved in a primary fighting your own ilk along with the opposing the party.

They can't just "vote the law", because its their job to interpret the law. And they always interpret through their biases - unfortunately. So I'd rather have judges that are closer to my own personal biases than those who are not.

I agree. Would be nice. I'd certainly like a GOP alternative to Trump. Otherwise I could see myself going to the other side of the aisle in this election. As for the debates and campaigns, I won't let my kid watch them. Isn't that saying something to the sad state of affairs when a dad has to restrict his child from watching the political process of the country because the politicians running can't be counted on to be civil enough?

  9. Yeh, truthfully I dont know how that could even work in theory. That's not a loaded 'I don't know." Just sayin I dont know how their frigging process works.

At one point, I figured it was a given that Kasich and a bozo here or there would run just because they have nothing else to do but then the RNC declared- I believe- that there would not be primaries so I just shrugged and said, okay, well scratch that then.

But then, in the last couple weeks Jeb Bush has been saying that he thinks that Trump should be primaried and there is clown, a former congressme I think, who thinks he is running against Trump as a primary opponent.

It would seem to me that if the RNC declares no primary, it is game over and Jeb needs to take his butt-hurt elsewhere.
