you poor dumb bastards hiding away and then relying on temporary vaccines for antibody spikes... and hoping the rest of you immune systems is not compromised.

Time is what life is made of.

  2. Cut him some slack he was up all night on FB sharing fake news and getting likes so he gets paid. Tough life being a online beta influencer. If truth be told, I’d bet he’s been vaxed.

Is this more face book disinformation? The rest of us know that if a PCR test from nose or mouth -- a test for the presence of the virus; not the antibodies -- comes back positive at 20 cycles or less that person can infect others, at least as of the time they were tested. As usually performed it is semi-quantitative, in that the number of cycles needed to produce a positive result is a function of the amount of virus present. But to say a person that comes back positive even at 40 cycles can not infect others is risky if you have no idea whether their viral load is waxing or waning. We should always treat everyone with a positive PCR as infectious and isolate them. You, however, should be permanently isolated to protect society.

    even more absolute horseshit...

you have no idea what your talking about.
    you just used words...
but you clearly have no idea what the cycles were for.

go back and learn about the test..
you might even wish to check what the scientist who made it said. ..

not the bullshit fact check.... but the quote.

Your wasting your breath on the rest of us. Maybe try this message out on families of Trump's evangelicals, and conservative radio talk show hosts that have lost someone because they were unvaccinated. Virtually all the deaths from Covid, or from ingesting Horse Parasite medicine, are among unvaccinated Trump worshipers. This, I suppose, is a sort of kharma coming back to haunt Trump and his White Nationalist Cult. Republicans are in trouble, because according to them only Democrats can vote after they're dead. As it turned out it wasn't a good thing when Bolton got rid of the office set up under the Obama administration to deal specifically with threats from new infectious agent and prevent them from causing a pandemic.

its high risk vs low risk...

if you high risk you and your doctor agrees you should definitely get the vax in my opinion.

if you are low risk... the cost benefit ways against the vaccine as you get younger and healthier.

If you don't understand that... you do not understand the risks...

I am beginning to wonder if you were really a scientist...
    you were totally wrong.
PCR tests can not tell if you are infectious...

everybody with a brain can google that and learn for themselves... you should try.

The cycles are used to detect RNA of the virus...
detecting RNA does indicate whether it or you are infectious.

    https://www.cebm.net/covid-19/infectious-positive-pcr-test-result-covid-19/

    What does this mean?

This detection problem is ubiquitous for RNA viruses detection. SARS-CoV, MERS, Influenza Ebola and Zika viral RNA can be detected long after the disappearance of the infectious virus.

The immune system works to neutralise the virus and prevent further infection. Whilst an infectious stage may last a week or so, because inactivated RNA degrades slowly over time it may still be detected many weeks after infectiousness has dissipated.

    What can we conclude?

These studies provided limited data of variable quality that PCR results per se are unlikely to predict viral culture from human samples. Insufficient attention may have been paid how PCR results relate to disease. The relation with infectiousness is unclear and more data are needed on this.

Sorry to tell you this but your statement is stupid. It’s smart to be vaccinated against Covid. You’re trying to spread your fear of vaccination to others. In business we call this analysis paralysis. Where you’re stuck in a constant state of confusion and fear instead of taking the necessary action.

The vast majority of adults are vaccinated in America. The smartest people are vaccinated. If you’re unvaccinated at this point you’re just scared and looking to validate your fear.

Bullshit...science and data should not be feared.. Just look at the way your team labeled science, fake news because it went against the narrative he was taught. Your team tries to eliminate thought and evaluation.

Its Orwellian. Critical thinking and real facts and real science are important...the narrative is dangerous.

    with respect to vaccines....
So far... it seems for the high risk...it may not be smart as you get healthier and younger.
    There are unknown future risks.

Personally I hope the Novavax vaccine, which is touted as being old school, handles variants well.
