Yes. Biden considering his age should just bring Trump to the rose garden and put a bullet in his head on live TV then piss in the hole. Nobody cares about Biden, he was just the not Trump, going to be fairly normal and quiet option. His legacy mistake is not being patriotic enough to just do what needs to be done with the Trump clan. If its feudalism people want, give it to them. Popularity soars. Elvis gave Nixon a gun, using that would be a nice touch.
He did a little compromising. Gun background checks, assault weapon ban, government health care for children, raising taxes, allowing gays in the military,Breyer and Ginsburg, stopping the military spending increases etc far outweighs the trinkets he gave to the right to say he absorbed a right philosophy imo
If the Democrats are smart they will use the next three years building the perfect candidate and platform while the republicans deal with trump and all his little cronies who have infected the party. but it’s unlikely the democrats will do that.
lol...democrats and competence. I've been of the mind lately that high information voters (in the minority) have a giant blind spot and project their thought process on low info voters (the majority). I guess what I'm saying is policy isn't really what the mob gets excited over. The dems have to adopt the repug play book of fear mongering and culture war to light a fire under the base. Not that Trump, DeSantis, or every Pinochet-like caricature in the GOP makes that difficult. The dems are still in denial that democracy & the school systems are at play; never mind the judicial.
Democrats should just be democrats. Worrying about the next election cycle when it’s pretty well baked in is futile. Biden will most likely be watching Trump in his consideration of running for re-election. If Trump is in then so is Biden. If Trump isn’t in then Biden probably won’t run again.
Biden approval hits new low as economic discontent rises, Post-ABC poll finds Majorities of Americans support President Biden’s $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure package and a pending bill that would spend nearly $2 trillion on social programs and climate initiatives. Yet despite the backing for these measures, Biden’s approval rating has ticked downto a new low, driven largely by more negative views among Democrats and independents, according to a Washington Post-ABC News poll.
