Biden’s job approval takes nosedive

  1. Losing a civil trial does not make one 'convicted' of anything. That's not the meaning of the word.

  2. They can say a jury found him guilty.
My attack ad would be very simple:

    The verdict is in:
    Donald Trump, guilty of rape.
Lawyer: "It's true with stars that they can grab women by the pussy?"
Trump: "Well...if you look over the last million years that's been largely true"
    "Unforuntately or fortunately"
Lawyer: "And you consider yourself to be a star"
Trump: "I think you can say that yeah"
There's nothing fortunate about rape Donald. Sexual predators don't belong in our White House.

    Very simple hard-hitting ad.

All good points. This should be a cakewalk reelection for an incumbent Dem,even easier than Obama and Clinton considering the abortion issue and how hated Trump and Desantis is.Problem for Biden is how hated he is in the democrat party.55-60% approval with blacks,Obama and Clinton were around 90-95%.Bidens approval with hispanics is around 20 %,in 2011 Obama was around 50%.Most polls don't specifically show progressive approval but progressives like me hate his fucking guts. While most of us/these groups wont be voting for Trump/Desantis millions of us will not be showing up to vote for Biden either. If progressives, blacks, young people and a decent amount of hispanics don't show up for The Dem they are toast.

Tony, I promise you everyone who visits the forum knows you will not be voting for Biden at this point and nobody questions it.

My observation is that this ABC pill is getting a lot of run in the media because it shows Trump beating Biden. The problem is that this poll is also an outlier and a very big one at that.

Is it a “signal” of a changing tide or is it “noise” that is expected to come from polling? Who knows.

    Its not an outlier

Its also not an outlier when factoring his overall approval and approval with specific Dem groups likes blacks, hispanics and young people where he is far lower than Obama and Clinton.

  8. Interpreting polls is sort of an American sport.

I was listening to Vivek with Chuck Todd- whatever network that is.

And Todd was ragging on him about his low poll numbers with the inuendo of "what kind of joke we got going here."

Then Vivek says "I am about where Trump was in the polls when he came down the escalator." Chuckie had nothing to say so I put a couple points up on the board for the Indian boy. He played that very well. I have no idea whether it is true or not. I could look it up but it does not matter. The point is he handled himself well there.

    American sport.

I expect Bidens numbers to drop even more after he sells out democrat voters on the debt ceiling.

  10. Yes, it would be a strong ad.

BUT, Nothing to do with my statement, to wit: Conviction as a term means criminal, not civil. No one can be convicted by losing a lawsuit, only by losing a criminal case as the defendant.
