Tough because the best person for VP is not the best person to help him win.Ive said it before,Dems need high black voter turnout like they had in 2008,2012,2017-2019.After winning the nomination due to black voters if he doesn't pick someone black they will be pissed and likely stay home in large enough numbers for Trump to win imo.Honestly i don't think there are a lot of black politicians ready to lead the country from day 1.Daval Patrick with 2 terms of Governors experience is the best I can think of.
Okay, what did you do with Tony? This makes too much sense. So Democrats have a delemnia then because you can bet your last buck the Republican campaign ad machine is going to spend hundreds of millions pointing out that Joe ain't up yo the task and that the V.P. Is actually the presidential candidate. They will pound on this day and night. The DNC must know this. How Biden gets through that convention without a super strong V.P. pick is going to be tricky. For sure it must be a woman. A guy would have to be black and impressive as hell, or at least look that way. They should just go back to Bernie with some milk toast babe, young enough to excite the under 35 crowd, but just enough middle roadness to bring the semblance of balance. Why not, we're in full blown socialist mode anyway. Of course this assumes that Sanders actually wants to be president and not just the guy bitching about the sins of capitalism while collecting the fat checks.
