That still has nothing to do with race. Anybody of any colour of skin or race or ethnicity can be born into an environment of inner city violence or with a silver spoon. And neither environment guarantees wealth or poverty later on in life either.

  2. Well, in the US most people born in the inner city happen to be black or hispanic, while most people born with a silver spoon happen to be white. That naturally colors the whole argument, pardon my pun and makes it a racial issue.

Nothing in life is guaranteed, it's all a matter of probab. However, if you are born poor there is a high probability that you are going to die poor and if you do drift up, it's not gonna be far. If you are born rich, there is a high probability that you gonna remain rich and if you are going to drift down, you are not gonna drift into deep poverty. There are numerous sociological studies on this.

  5. Blacks should wake up and look around. These White Liberals are telling them that they are victims and that they don't have to work hard because big government will support them.

It's time to look around at other minorities like Asians, Korean, Chinese, Indians. Most of them work hard and succeed. You don't see them playing the victim.

Stop being weak and start working.

The ultimate irony/painful reality: $80K (or $250K or whatever the amount is now) could be handed to everyone demanding reparations tomorrow and within 1-2 years max we'd be right back where we started (and the recipients possibly even worse off).

Every ethnic group started out poor and in the inner city but worked their way out.
So the Black solution to rise out of poverty and out of the inner city is to continue to have a bunch of babies out of Wedlock and keep playing the victim? Americans are getting tired of their excuses and nonsense. Many of the South Americans somehow find jobs but the blacks cant? give me a break.
hard working Americans are the true victims.
