I do not care about Turkey. 8.2% is outrageous and it could be much less with a good head at work.

  3. Was a time when Mexico, Italy, Spain and Argentian were not necessarily the standards we compared ourselves against.

Not any more. Biden one us to be just like them. Global and not independent cowboys going our own ways. Wayy to go.

Yet the recent inflation rate in most western nations is higher than the U.S.

  5. Unimpressive. Small differences between Mexico, Italy, spain etc. We used to be in separate league.

Also the European nations are at war and have that as a factor driving them up.

You can quibble it if you want, and you do.

Uh, it looks like "It is all just a global problem" is not working. What to do, what to do? Of course, how I forgot, it is all Putin, it is not me, it is Putin. It is so weak.

  8. Supply chain shortages (of which China plays a large part) and OPEC are big drivers. Trump and Biden both made it worse with all the poorly targeted stimulus checks. Meanwhile US productivity has declined as there was an acceleration of retirees during the pandemic and more people left the labor force. We see skilled tradespeople retiring at a 4-1 clip of being replaced driving up the cost of labor for construction and home repairs. Instead of increasing taxes the Fed printed money like crazy with no increase in productivity to back the money supply. So some of it is self-inflicted decision making while some of it is globally related.

You’re totally missing the point, inflation is global and it is impacting every country from east to west, developed to less developed.

  10. You are unable to understand my point. Or rather your political motives prevent you from acknowledging it.
