No, that’s not the grievance of a 20-something Wall Street protester. It’s the bleak recent assessment of Vice President Biden.

His view is broadly shared by the public – and backed up by official government data. Indeed, the belief that things have gotten worse for middle-income Americans, not only during the Great Recession but over the past three decades, has cemented into the kind of conventional wisdom that could drive the 2012 presidential campaign.

When Democrats can't screw the rich anymore, they turn to the middle class. Higher toll fees, property taxes, fines (new fines), etc. Plus, the kids get something new: curfew, and the hefty fines associated with it. We can thank Obama's boys for that one.

On the matter of H-1b workers, your are correct. Both parties are equally guilty. On illegal immigration, while there are some pro-illegal immigrant Republicans, like Rick Perry and Dick Armey, 95% of all congressional opposition to illegal immigration comes from Republicans.
