I get it, it puts progressives between a rock and a hard place. Nevertheless, the logic I described earlier remains valid--a point we'll have to disagree on.

Biden's failings to the country in no way compare to the criminal and attempted sabotage/subterfuge of Trump. My concern is for the country's democratic system more than anything else ... as it should be for everyone. Nothing else matters if our democracy (continues to) falls. Your concern here seems to be more about the well-being of the progressive agenda.

    Consider this:

Progressives are in that hard place due to being a minority. In a democracy, majority vote rules. We call that fair. Is it not? The GQP doesn't like it, so they try to steal elections. Progressives don't like it, so they threaten to vote GQP, even though they are more aligned with dems.

Rather than threaten 'scorched Earth' if dems don't meet their demands, try increasing your number of members. Going scorched Earth will likely have the opposite effect on your numbers.

I recommend they get better at the carrot, rather than trying to master the stick. The stick won't increase progressive numbers; the carrot would do much better at that.

That's not an "assumption." That's me giving my opinion--knowing that I could be correct or not. It's not saying I'm absolutely correct. I think we all know how opinions work.

And you can't correct me until the event happens--and you vote for Trump. As I said, you could decide for the first time in your life to change your mind in the booth. Or you could be simply bluffing.

Let me phrase it this way: "I bet you won't vote for Trump."

Biden probably looked at Bernie and thought, damn, look how much milage he's getting from mouthing messages he doesn't really believe in, as much as the real estate the messages will buy him. It's estimated Bernie has one house for each time he's run for president. I think that's about four now. About as many as that woman who headed BLM for a while.

You gave your opinion in the first post and assumption in the second.

Unless Biden is not the nominee betting that I wont vote Trump(if he is) would be a bad bet.

Indeed.Unfucking believable how well Biden ran as a person completely different than who he really is.

I asked for a quote, you gave me one quote. Quote where I made an assumption in the "second" post. Just so I'm on the same page as you when I respond.
