Whatever it takes to get Bedpan Biden out of office. They are giving him the Cuomo treatment.
This amazingly transparent administration hid this information from the public prior to the election and then waited for the most despised speaker of the house ever elected to get through his 15 election attempts before disclosing.

Hiding information from the public before elections is one of the core pillars of the Marxist Democrat Party!

They have been doing it since at least 2008.

We know that lying/hiding information has had enormous influence on election outcomes in 2012, 2020, and 2022.

Hey Tree - sounds like this would be an impeachable offense no?

  4. Anything is impeachable if you have the votes. But the pubs do not.

As I said the other day, if they had enough votes for impeachment they would move that Majorkas clown out in a heartbeat.

I am not big on impeaching a president on this. However, if the republicans do their work, there are much bigger issues to impeach Biden on, with all his Big Guy Gets 10 stuff. But they still don't have the votes. But we have a 2024 election coming up and this and two thirds of voters do not want to see Biden run again and this is another reason and if he keeps bungling it, it will create more reasons.

The dems did a well-planned political hit job on Trump at Mar-A-Largo for the purpose of damaging him to the maximum extent possible. Republicans should approach Joe's fuck up here in the same way. Extract the maximum damage out of it. The dems and Biden are entitled to absolutely no sympathy or slack whatsoever.

  7. I think that also helped the GOP in damaging trump because then they can break free from trump and run their better candidates. In 2024 the Dems cannot keep banging the trump drum if he is not in the election and the current GOP candidates have basically rejected him. Dems left without any more trump arguments as they flounder. It will be easy to make dems look stupid by pointing out they are still fighting trump in 2024 who is not even running nor is any candidate a supporter while GOP is focused ont eh country and moving forward blah blah blah...

  8. Of course. As I tell GWB every other day, "the day will come when the dems will wake up realize that the Trump is the candidate they wanted to run against." It becomes hard to characterize all Republicans as "Ultra-MAGA Trumpers" (their original game plan) if republicans are clearly looking at two or three other candidates.

The other dynamic going on is that the media needs Trump fiercely. All of their programming and ratings - with both left and right leaning networks- was built around Trump. But Trump is not really out there much these days so they have to create a whole new set of demons. As we are seeing right now, if there is any lull in that usual diet of Trump, they are not opposed to ragging on Biden for Plan B. And they all think they are above getting in the mud on any Hunter Biden type investigations but they are not- if there is nothing else going on. Same point you made I guess, I am just extending it beyond dems to the dem media as well.

The other thing is that in earlier posts I disagreed with those who say that there is a coming slugfest between Trump and DeSantis. I asked why when "the trend is his friend" he would get into that. After all, he wants Trumps voters. I am standing by that. DeSantis can read the polls, and he can see Trump getting hit at Mar-A-Largo and flailing around. Why the hell would he want to do anything other than just "let the trade work".

There is an active movement in the Republican party to Dump Trump and put him out to pasture -- especially since the recent disastrous mid-terms for Republicans. Trump is a losing Presidential candidate for the GOP in the 2024 General Election.

In a 2024 primary match-up only involving DeSantis and Trump, it will be DeSantis which comes out on top. However in a crowded Republican primary field with more candidates, it will be Trump which comes out on top.

At this point, Trump effectively is not campaigning. He is merely hiding in his bunker at Mar-a-Lago slinging insults on Truth Social.

  10. I don't don't disagree with that but neither do I know that to be true.

I would have to get a sense of whether the others in the aforementioned crowded field were actually getting some votes and support or whether they are just a sideshow in the primaries.

Both Trump and DeSantis would be strong players. But if there are third, fourth- place players getting votes they are taking them from Trump or Desantis. I am not prepared yet to say whether Trump of DeSantis would do better in that scenario.

Also, it depends on what is meant by "coming out on top." Even Trump got the most votes in the field, he may be "on top" in that sense but he has to get to a magic number to come out "on top" at the Convention. And realistically, Trump is too controversial now to run the table even if he does well- just for the sake of argument. So in a crowded field, the question will become "how many votes are with third and fourth place candidates and who will they coalesce with at the end of day- Trump or Desantis?
