Vice President Joe Biden told Florida radio station WLRN on Thursday that voters should hold President Barack Obama, not former President George W. Bush, accountable for the poor state of Americaâs economy. Conservative PAC American Crossroads circulated the startling statement Thursday afternoon, expecting it will take Democratic campaign strategists by surprise. âRight now, understandably â totally legitimate â this is a referendum on Obama and Biden and the nature of the state of the economy,â Biden said. Polls indicating that more Americans blame Bush for the economy than Obama are not relevant, Biden said. âEven though fifty-some percent of the American people think that the economy tanked because of the last administration, thatâs not relevant,â Biden stressed. âWhatâs relevant is weâre in charge. And right now we are the ones in charge and itâs gotten better, but it hasnât gotten good enough.â âI donât blame them for being mad. Weâre in charge,â Biden explained. http://dailycaller.com/2011/09/29/b...ame-obama-not-bush-for-economy/#ixzz1ZNP0GlQ0
Joe doesn't drink, does he? What if he has to take over and decide whether to launch some nukes?? Or, if he should get that 3 AM phone call. Is the Secret Service just going to say, Joe isn't feeling too well, he'll call you back sometime tomorrow.
