As I have said previously, before this scenario is over, if ever, Biden's lackeys will be sending buses down to pick up the migrants and bring them up. I know if I were a migrant I would want wifi on my bus too. Or else I want cash compensation. 450K please. per child denied wifi.
Kamala Harris makes history, again, as first woman with presidential power — temporarily Vice President Kamala Harris, pictured here during a White House event earlier this year, served temporarily as president on Friday. (Jacquelyn Martin / Associated Press) By Chris MegerianStaff Writer Nov. 19, 2021 Updated 9:36 AM PT WASHINGTON — It was the colonoscopy that made history. While President Biden went under anesthesia on Friday for the routine medical procedure, Vice President Kamala Harris assumed the powers of commander in chief. View attachment upload_2021-11-19_12-50-28.gif Politics Kamala Harris’ struggles create a bind for Democrats Kamala Harris’ former status as a prohibitive favorite in the 2024 or 2028 primary has taken a big hit after an underwhelming year in office. But denying her the job could create problems for Democrats with two of their most important constituencies — women and Black voters. It was the first time that someone who wasn’t a man served in that role, even temporarily. Biden ceded his authority to Harris from 7:10 a.m. (Pacific) to 8:35 a.m., and the White House said she spent the time working from her office in the West Wing. The transfer of power was a reminder of Harris’ standing as the first woman and the first person of color to be vice president. “Has the glass ceiling shattered?” said Bakari Sellers, a political ally of Harris. “No, but it does have another crack.” The moment also provided a glimpse of a future that has so far proved elusive for American women. Several have run for the nation’s highest office — Hillary Clinton, of course, came the closest — but none have succeeded. Harris herself sought the Democratic presidential nomination before dropping out early in last year’s primary. Biden chose her as his vice president shortly before accepting the nomination himself. “It’s a really dope experience,” added Sellers of Harris’ brief moment as commander in chief. “It has to warm your heart.” Harris has drawn outsized attention not only because of her historic status, but because of Biden’s age. He is the oldest person to be sworn in as president, and he turns 79 on Saturday. Biden received the colonoscopy during what the White House described as his regular physical examination. The transfer of power was handled under section 3 of the 25th amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which allows the president to voluntarily transfer authority to the vice president.
Two more Harris aides leaving in addition to Sanders https://thehill.com/homenews/admini...is-press-aides-leaving-in-addition-to-sanders Two more aides working in Vice President Harris's office are expected to leave their roles in the coming weeks in addition to the two high-profile exits of her press secretary and communications director, a source familiar with the departures confirmed to The Hill Peter Velz, who is the vice president's director of press operations, and Vince Evans, the deputy director of the Office of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs for Harris, are planning to leave those positions soon, the source confirmed. Harris' office declined to comment. The Washington Post first reported on their impending exits. The departure of Velz and Evans, who are expected to take new jobs in or close to the Biden administration, comes on the heels of news that Symone Sanders, Harris's press secretary, will leave the administration. Officials suggested Sanders had long planned to leave at the end of 2021. Sanders is the highest-profile exit to date from the vice president's office, which has been beset by reports of dysfunction and frustration about her role in the administration. Sanders was the most visible voice in pushing back on those reports, and she has been a prominent surrogate for Democrats dating back to the 2020 presidential campaign, when she worked for then-candidate Joe Biden. Harris's communications director, Ashley Etienne, will also be leaving her White House role this month. Etienne previously served as communications director for Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and worked in the Obama administration before that.
Indeed. I said some things about that earlier today, last post in the thread linked below: Take-away message is that I enjoy seeing the chaos she is in, but truthfully getting rid of Simone Sanders is long overdue move. And don't think for a micro-second that she resigned voluntarily. That hag (Sanders, no relation to Bernie) has a very high opinion of herself and a mouth the size of Texas to tell you about it. https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/joe-biden-the-fake-president.352379/page-115
If Harris wants to save her political career she needs to get off the sinking ship that is the one term Biden Administration and announce she won't serve a 2nd term as Biden's VP.
