They think it mattered to Democrats if Kamala was taking over for most of a 2nd term. Trump got elected because Elon was desperate to staunch a flood of criminal investigations coming his way. Trump is also a geriatric mess. Perhaps Ozempic alone has given him a new lease.
My understanding is that PSAs are rife with false positives, especially for older men. This can lead to medical procedures, such as a prostate biopsy, that can be harmful, painful and debilitating. So the choice to have or not have the test is not exactly clear cut. At least that's my understanding.
There is no "stage 5" cancer either of course, Biden has a Gleason score of 9 which is a very different thing.
Biden has a fair chance of longer than expected as they say the cancer is responsive to hormone deprivation, ADT, even if it's reached bone. The loss of testosterone is not pleasant but at 82 or so he's mostly there anyway. So he may have up to years despite the stage 4 scenario.
Of course they are: The MAHA Crowd Is Already Questioning Biden’s Cancer Diagnosis https://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2025/05/biden-cancer-vaccine-maha/682846/ “Turbo cancer” claims are back. It took just a few hours for devotees of the “Make America healthy again” movement to question former President Joe Biden’s prostate-cancer diagnosis. Tumors of the prostate are the most common serious malignancy identified in men: Even aggressive ones like Biden’s are diagnosed roughly 25,000 times a year in the United States. Although Biden’s condition is conventional, a certain segment of the public has been beguiled into blaming mainstream medicine for every unexpected death or health-related tragedy it comes across. The anti-vaccine community, including the group formerly led by Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., has spent years promoting the idea that mRNA vaccines for COVID regularly push tumors into overdrive. (Rare anecdotes aside, there is no evidence to support this fear.) Now, predictably, the claim is cropping up again on social media. “Prostate cancer takes years to metastasize to bone unless super aggressive or turbo cancer,” the Kennedy-endorsed physician Craig Wax suggested. Doofs.
