Most of the unaffiliated voters care about the border situation and Afghanistan withdrawal fiasco -- hence Biden's poor polling. It is the "middle" causing the change.

Who would have thought that Biden would be screwing up so badly that independent voters start thinking Trump looks better. Hard to cite an example of sinking worse then this.
