I was trying to show how both parties fight dirty and not fair not just in terms of the relentless health probes on Trump but also in the impeachment prosecutions and now the bogus criminal charges that makes Trump the first president in history to be a convicted president. LOL Seriously if Hunter gets a pardon on the tax charges, so should Trump. Biden should pardon Trump as well. LOL

Thanks for the history lesson though.

    TheDawn,

I am very harsh on politicians who have committed crimes regardless of their political party.

Yet, I make a distinction between Trump and Hunter because Hunter holds no political office. Hunter has never held a political office as in never being elected to a political office.

Also, I made a message post in the past about being suspicious of the Trump / Biden meeting in which I believed a deal would be made privately between those two old farts in which Hunter would get a Pardon (without Trump & the DOJ getting in the way and then Biden would Pardon Trump to get those 34x convicted felonies wiped off his record.

We as the public do not know about the secret deals that politicians make with each other behind the scenes.

I believe that Trump will be inaugurated on January 20th, 2025 without any further legal action and those 34x convicted felonies will magically disappear. The same for Hunter...no further legal pursuit. It's done.

Also, I believe the office of the U.S. President is sacred. Thus, no U.S. President should be inaugurated with a felony. President Biden has the power to fix that for Trump.

If Biden does not...it will not be a good look to the world and may prompt changes going forward in the U.S. Constitution and the Supreme Court Immunity issue.

Simply, although politicians may dislike each other...they can use their power to go after each other or protect each other's asses.

I can't remember the name of the U.S. President but there was a U.S. President that set a precedent by pardoning another U.S. President...I think it involved Nixon.

Meh. Complainants venue shop and prosecutors take advantage of judges political leanings at all levels. The appeal system and stare decisis is what has shown to control wayward prosecutors and judges.

The issue with Biden pardoning his son is that maligned the justice system in his explanation for issuing the pardon. Now these right wingers are trying to make hay out of it for all the wrong reasons because they can’t say a good word about the justice system due to the fact their love of their life is swimming in criminal activity. But that is the issue with Biden.

Those 34X felony charges were trumped (no pun intended) up anyway and should've never been there in the first place. If Trump had been a democrat, he would've never had those charges in the first place. Look at Nancy Pelosi, all those "opportune" buying and selling of stocks for herself and her husband of companies that she is on the committee to oversee. Did they even bother to look at her trading records? LOL

They are lucky that Trump is not a vengeful guy.

Yup “they” are lucky. Now whoever you think “they” are the Biden White House is mulling preemptive pardons for them. Think Fauci, Wray, Jack Smith, all the federal prosecutors involved, whoever else Trump may believe “they” are. Yup. Very lucky.
