Well I have a lot of morons on ignore so I dont see threads started by a brain donor I previously identified. Only within threads, if I choose "show ignored".

Obviously TheDawn now goes on that list of not worth hearing from.

And I was wrong imply The Dawn might not be Amercian because not knowing very basic civics is totally Amercian.

Well as long as judges are appointed by presidents and we have presidents that can be of either party, there is ALWAYS a chance that somebody is tried and convicted by a judge appointed by a president from the "rival" party so now what happens? As long as the judge from the "rival" party, his/her judgement doesn't count and convicted automatically gets pardoned by the sitting president of the same party as the convicted? LOL

Then what's the point of being governed by rules of law then? It's ruling by rules of law but with disclaimer? As long as you are a family member of the sitting POTUS, rules of law don't apply to you? LOL In other words, family members of POTUS are above the law? LOL

You can ignore me all you want but the reality of what's happening is still there. You won't be able to ignore that. Wait until that you get wronged by somebody and that somebody is supposed to get punished in a court of law and is getting convicted and sentenced but at the last minute gets pardoned by the POTUS because he's related to POTUS. Then you will remember what I said. I hope that doesn't happen to you, ever.

Trump pardoned Jared Kushner's father, put in jail for financial crimes and witness tampering/blackmail by Chris Christie. He also pardoned many of his inner circle of stooges. . The Democrats don't need to cling to norms that Trump already threw in the trash. Kushner Sr...Trump has now put him forward as ambassador to France.

You are beligerantly ignorant of the most basic facts of civics though an adult, and so your thoughts are entirely without value. I would not trust somebody like you to know the day of the week. You can't really get better if you never see you are wrong and change.

Anyway, just here posting this video.

    This one is different

The extraordinary breadth of Hunter Biden’s pardon
President Joe Biden’s pardon of son Hunter for any offenses over a nearly 11-year period doesn’t have many, if any, direct historical parallels.

Yes I am ignorant in this aspect I guess. I am not aware of all these pardons that Trump did which in my view are equally unacceptable but given the context and the reason of Biden's pardon for Hunter, one can also argue the same for Trump's justification for his pardons, unfortunately. I mean it is the Democrats who drew first blood by subjecting Trump to the unscrupulous scrutiny of his health just due to his age by subjecting him to daily health checks (when Biden is the one who is now shown with signs of dementia on public national television that's broadcast live across the world), the multiple relentless impeachment attempts with trumped up charges of his collision with Russian president Putin (when Biden had been cozy with China since when he was the Vice President), and the arrest and still criminal charges of Trump in an entire judiciary process orchestrated by the Democrats. The irony is just appalling and it is really sad to see that our governance by rule of law under democracy is now being destroyed by dirty political fights. And then the Democrats can claim that it's the Republicans who started with the impeachment of Clinton and so on and on and on and the finger pointing never ends. And then at the end, it's the people who suffers.

Trump was NOT subjected to daily health checks but there was a period that his health (mental fitness) was consistently questioned (not health checks), especially after his severe Covid hospitalization.

He's still consistently questioned by the media. Ironically, the ongoing discussion for the entire congressional members about "age limits" has been growing since Trump's severe COVID-19 hospitalization.

I do not know who started it. It could have been a Democrat, Republican, or media reporter but it has always been that way as "dirty political fights" since the FDR Presidential days (1920s) when he became ill on vacation in Canada...there was great deception to the American public by the White House until they could no longer hide it...

FDR was then confined to a wheelchair, with the aid of braces, and crutches. Since the FDR days, America has always questioned a President and Presidential candidate's health/mental fitness to do the job.

My point, it did not start during the Trump/Biden years. You were just not born to remember when it started. Yet, for us, I do remember (not remember to well) when Hilary Clinton was a Presidential candidate...she collapsed in New York while getting out of a car. Her health status was questioned by the media and the Trump campaign...

Trump then said she was physically unfit to do the job in an effort to capitalize on her illness. It was later revealed during the campaign that she had a blood clot behind her ear that caused an equilibrium problem (she started falling down).

The Clinton campaign didn't know what happen to her but released a quick statement that Clinton had "overheated" and suffered exhaustion before Doctors could complete their medical testing at the hospital.

Doctors would later treat it with blood thinners to dissolve the blood clot.

Trump would continue for many months that she had a "stroke" (not true). He stopped doing that after he had won the 2016 election.

Technically, that's when it started if we only go back to when Trump was first a Presidential candidate. Yet, one can argue it goes back a little further when Trump was a member of the Reform Party with Ross Perot...that's when Trump attacked the health/mental fitness of any congressional member who served in the military and had been a prisoner of WAR.

Trump's first target was John McCain (a Republican). Trump would continue targeting John McCain when Trump briefly became a Democrat and then continuing to do it when Trump flip-flopped to the Republican party.

One could argue that Trump had an ax to grind with McCain for political reasons as shown when Trump didn't like a U.S. missile guided destroyer named McCain visually showing McCain's name during a Trump visit...dirty politics.

Trump's beef with people like McCain, he argued that congressional members who served in the military...their military medical records should be "public".

Republicans and Democrats strongly disagree.

TheDawn, I agree with you. It is dirty politics but its deeply embedded in U.S. politics and it will always be that way because its a way to get votes.
