A 'taste of their own medicine': House GOPer's Biden probe is blowing up their faces https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/poli...n-probe-is-blowing-up-their-faces/ar-BB1hf0Ii Republican House members who are trying to use public hearings on Hunter Biden's legal problems, in an effort to damage President Joe Biden's re-election prospects, are finding the Democrats are more than willing to fight fire with fire. House Oversight Committee chairman James Comer (R-KY) along with House Judiciary Committee head Jim Jordan(R-OH) have allowed members of their caucus free rein to make attacks on the Bidens only to receive return fire from Democrats Like Reps. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) and Jared Moskowitz (D-FL). According to a report from the Daily Beast's Riley Rogerson, Republicans are finding themselves back on their heels at the unexpected pushback from Democrats on what they thought was a winning strategy, with Moskowitz explaining his party is "giving them a taste of their own medicine." As he explained, following his holding up enlarged pictures of Donald Trump with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein at a recent hearing, “They’ve decided to turn it into Cirque Du Soleil Oversight where literally, it’s just a total show. If that is the game that they are going to play, then game on." As the Beast's Rogerson wrote, "... the young, spunky cohort of Democrats—mentored by the leader of Trump’s second impeachment, Ranking Member Jamie Raskin (D-MD)—are refusing to take it. Where past generations of Democrats might have sat back, preferring to let Republican dysfunction speak for itself, the Oversight Dems are hitting Republicans hard." Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA), who got the expression "d--k pics" entered into the Congressional Record during a verbal battle with far-right Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), cut right to the chase about the Democrats' strategy. “We’re calling out their bulls--t like every single time, and I think they’re surprised by it. I think they’re not used to it. And I think that we are causing them great embarrassment,” he explained. That strategy, and lack of success by Comer in leading the inquiry, is reportedly making the membership sour on his machinations. One House Republican who asked to remain anonymous told the Messenger this week, "One would be hard-pressed to find the best moment for James Comer in the Oversight Committee. It’s been a parade of embarrassments.” You can read more here.
The GOP coyote thought they had the Hunter roadrunner this time. but they REALLY need to stop getting their witnesses from Acme. “The Trump Putin MAGA faction, headed up by the distinguished gentlelady from Georgia, has been given this worthless trinket of a consolation prize, the opportunity to bring a slapstick impeachment drive against a cabinet member of unimpeachable integrity, who has obviously committed no treason, no bribery, no high crimes, no misdemeanors, nothing indictable or even [in-dick-table], if you prefer.” U.S. Congressman Burns Marjorie Taylor Greene, "Too Good Not to Share" https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/poli...ylor-greene-too-good-not-to-share/ar-BB1hVJYw

Paging Congressman Comer -- Hey, Comer your entire set of claims is falling apart as being complete lies. FBI informant at heart of GOP’s Biden bribery allegations indicted over false statements https://thehill.com/regulation/cour...ry-allegations-indicted-for-false-statements/
Let's catch up with Don Jr.'s cocaine-fueled laughable take. 'Irretrievably incompetent' GOP 'circling the drain' after witness fiasco https://www.rawstory.com/comer-biden-2667297246/ Reacting to the indictment of an FBI source who provided Republicans with derogatory information being used against President Joe Biden which turned out to be false, former federal prosecutor Glenn Kirschner expressed disgust with the House GOP members who made the man a central focus of the impeachment efforts. Appearing on MSNBC's "Morning Joe," the former prosecutor labeled House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) and his cohort of Biden-attacking members "irretrievably incompetent." Addressing the revelation that 43-year-old Alexander Smirnov is facing two counts of allegedly handing the FBI false information about the president and his son, Hunter Biden, during the 2020 presidential campaign, Kirschner dryly explained how witnesses are supposed to be vetted for truthfulness. "Here's the thing," he told host Mika Brzezinski. "Any time you're dealing with a source, the three most important words are corroboration, corroboration, and corroboration. The fact that the Republicans would rely on somebody like this, who has now been criminally indicted for providing false information about Hunter Biden and potentially, by extension, President Biden, the fact that Republican members of Congress would rely on this raises the question, you know, are they sort of irretrievably incompetent, or do they just turn a blind eye to the credibility of the evidence that they're using in what is one of the most consequential moves: an impeachment hearing against a president of the United States." He then proceeded to pour more salt in Republicans' wounds. "You know, it just shows that the Republican Party, or at least certain factions, continue to circle the drain," he added. "You have to wonder, is there anybody in the Republican Party that's willing to do the hard work of pulling them out from this nosedive?" "This is beyond embarrassing, it is just not governance. It is, you know, inexcusable," he concluded.
Justice Department can’t ignore Bobulinski The Biden family’s former business associate, Tony Bobulinski, told Congress last week that no one in the DOJ, FBI, IRS, or local law enforcement followed up on an explosive interview he gave the FBI on Oct. 23, 2020. At that meeting, Bobulinski outlined serious allegations against the family and backed his accusations with significant corroborating evidence. Since then, Bobulinski’s credibility has been buttressed directly and indirectly by other witnesses and evidence. Still, the DOJ has acted as if he does not exist. This is a scandal. Bobulinski, a decorated Navy veteran with a high-level security clearance, is no political activist but, rather, a past donor to Democratic campaigns. Hunter and his uncle James enlisted Bobulinski as CEO of a joint investment venture they and two associates put together with CEFC, a huge Chinese conglomerate tied to the Chinese government. Bobulinski says he was told Joe Biden was a silent partner in the deal when he was vice president in 2015. He also says he discussed these business dealings with the man who is now president on “multiple occasions” in 2017. The Chinese agreed to provide the entire $10 million for the venture, half for its ownership stake and half as a forgivable “loan” to the Bidens. In effect, the Bidens got a $5 million share of a company despite putting up no money. In sum, Bobulinski testified, “Joe Biden’s immediate family members were enriched to the tune of tens of millions of dollars from some of our most dangerous adversaries, including the Chinese Communist Party and players from Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Kazakhstan and other foreign nations and entities.” He believes these dealings involved “possible violations by Joe Biden of the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), Anti-Corruption and Public Integrity statutes, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), and the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO).”
