  2. You actually need a link to prove that Asians have the lowest out of wedlock birth rate in America? You are kidding right !

We are products of our environment.

Those that are able to overcome and score 707 on The SATs deserve to go Harvard more than a kid in an upper class 2 parent home with private schools and tutors their whole life but scored a 767.

Try explaining to a Vietnamese boat person why descendants of slaves 150 years ago should have a preference over him.

The reasons for upholding the current admission system are agreed by all parties who matter.

Don't let a little political chicken being played to win a few Asian votes before the last election fool you into thinking had Trump continued as president his conservative packed supreme court would have changed anything..

Its not especially genetic as The Bell Curve loving ipatent wants everyone to believe.

I expect if one were to look at the percentage of black students who were foreign or recent black African immigrants you would find a surprising number are from Nigeria and some other African nations which share a cultural obsession with 3rd level.

Where black families have stability and some a lot of wealth, the kids go to top universities all over the world.

If black Americans are actually underperforming (despite their genetic advantage being more hybridised as @ipatent 's beloved "Bell Curve" would have it) its really down to how apartheid surpression continued in America past the 1960s.

Its going to take a while longer in the US. Asians have a very different history (with many threads like Africans and all humans) and were generally in a much better position to thrive.

There are hundreds of scientific peer reviewed studies that aren't publicized in the media for crowd control reasons.

data is from an influential 2009 book in which two Princeton sociologists, Thomas Espenshade and Alexandra Radford, quantified how well you needed to score on your SATs to have an equal chance of admission as someone of another race. It implies that a black student who scores 1000 on her SATs would have an equal chance of admission as a white student who scores 1310 or an Asian-American student who scores 1450.
