Biden 2020

Discussion in 'Politics' started by wildchild, Apr 6, 2019.

  1. Joe is apparently still not finding his groove and his mojo. I guess the first 50 years on the stump were not enough for him to get the hang of it.

Not lookin good. Of course this is just a New York Times opinion column by someone who is not a Biden supporter. So it may be biased. Joe may actually be *nitro* in person. Hopefully though he will start drawing some kind of crowds so that others can feel the vibe and it won't all go to waste. Show em your Obama friendship bracelet Joe!!!!!!!!!!

Joe Biden Doesn’t Look So Electable in Person

Seeing Biden on the stump often feels like watching an actor who can’t quite remember his lines. Even if you don’t support him, it’s hard not to feel anxious on his behalf.

  2. Probably MOVE ON's poll here is bogus and biased, nevertheless it is gasoline on the fire for Warren to move ahead of Biden and the lefty media will pick it up and run with it.

This is a nasty hit for Joe.

As discussed, I have expected Joe to fall in the polls regardless so dont really have much energy for analyzing any particular poll. Maybe a particular poll is a crock. Maybe it isnt. Doesnt really matter to me. If the results are not true this week then they will be in a couple weeks anyway.

JOE's NUMBERS ARE GOING SOUTH in the coming weeks- or at least the ridiculous frigging coronation talk will end. Joe is not going to be the nominee.

(look at Kirsten Gillibrand's position. lol.)

  3. As discussed, it would only take a little bit of Joe in public to offer up a reminder as to why he is 1% Joe and headed nowhere.

And then reality would begin to bite his sorry arse.

Exhibit A below, again, right on schedule. There should be no surprises here.

  4. AsI said, no one on that stage in night #2 was looking to make a case for VP, they wanted to take down Biden so the polls would stop focusing on him and give the others a chance to make their case, something the GOP failed to do well and therefore only Trump and one or two other guys got so speak up.

I applaud Harris for taking the first shot so now we can see it open up and candidates will be forced to face the issues and not cowtow to a poll leader.

  5. Joe is a soft target. You can bring him down or just wait a little longer and watch him continue to fall on his own from self-inflicted wounds. Ditto for Bernie although a little longer - quite a bit longer, actually but the same end point.

The hard core nude mud wrestling and hand to hand combat will be between Pocahontas and Skankala Harris. If one does not take the other down, that person is not going down, so they have to do the deed and make the kill. Lots of entertainment value there. Warren has a bit of an edge over Harris because Harris is stupid. But there will be plenty of blood. And that's fine.

Applaud Harris all you want, but she actually has the absolute worst record as far as feminism goes, and that big target on her back will be a direct result of using kneepads to climb the career "ladder", so to speak.

    It will be brutal.

  7. Absolutely, she is on a little sugar high right now where she takes shots at Joe because he is old enough to have history, yet no one knows what her history is. But, as you say, there is price to be paid for rising in the polls. You start getting attention and some of it you don't want.

She has a solid reputation in the Bay Area for being part of the "lock up black predators and as many as you can" as a DA and she is direct product of crony politics, appointments to fake jobs that only required one board meeting a month, and kneepadding her way around town.

And as I have said, she has a problem with being stupid, and there is no cure for stupid. She proclaimed that she would give the vote to incarcerated prisoners, then had to retract it within 24 hours. She said that she would eliminate private insurers, then had to retract it withing 24 hours. Joe is accused of just reading a chapter ahead in the book to stay up to speed but Skankala really is not doing much better.

But I dont deny that she is having a good day and will have some more, until she doesnt. Just as I have denied that when Joe entered he would have some good days basking up there in the limelight of those high poll numbers, until he doesnt.

In the end, as you have noted, she has a Hillary cackle, that she tries to use to dismiss others. It works for a bit, then it does not.

Harris will get Obama type black voter turnout if she is the nominee or VP.She'll be fine and that line of attacks coming from racist republicans will make blacks even more eagar to go vote just like when conservatives were attacking Obama.

  10. Now the press is flat out just kicking Joe in the balls.

C'mon for gawds sake. Jesse Jackson has full blown parkinsons and is not capable of fully responding to anyone. So talking about Jesse giving Joe a flaccid response is low shiite.

As I have said. I am for seeing Joe go down but I dont really like it. Too dirty for me. He is not a worthy opponent and is not a warrior match-up.
