Joe still drifting at the top of the pack, and I give him that, as always. Although, as always, I don't find his lead to be as exciting and insurmountable as others, do but that has been discussed. "Despite the lead, Mr. Biden’s support fell below 30% for the first time since he jumped into the race in April. It’s down from a high of 41% in early May." Usual Tard presented the argument yesterday that Joe will pick up some points in Iowa from his current tour. I said I dont know about that- will have to see- but agreed that you can often get more support by actually going out and campaigning. That is not as radical an idea to me as it is for Sleepy Joe. The watch-out though is if he puts eight straight days into Iowa and it does not move the needle much, that would not be pretty. Because he is or was anyway in fourth place in Iowa, and he may be looking good in the national polls but whether he can transfer that down to the state primary polls remains to be seen. Iowa is his chance and he will no longer be able to use the excuse that he has not spent much time there. I am surprised to see that Bloomberg is now at 5%, given the absolute wall-to-wall hate speech that the other dems have directed at him. We know it pissed Kamala off, because she is tied with him, yet she considers him to be an interloper. We can expect some fierce accusations about how Americans are racist and misogynist before long. https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2019/dec/3/joe-biden-holds-9-point-lead-over-nearest-2020-dem/
Hunter no-shows in court. Let's see how eager he will be to show up before the Senate when he gets his subpoena. If he wants even more publicity, this can be arranged. He probably was not under subpoena, but the judge will be plenty happy to just rule against some motions he has going if he no-shows, so it is not without penalty. Classy guys, those Bidens. ====================================================== Hunter Biden was a no-show for an Arkansas court hearing Monday in the paternity case against him – as his lawyers unexpectedly filed papers saying they’d been fired, according to reports. The motion by Biden’s attorneys to withdraw from his case was filed moments before the scheduled hearing in Independence County Circuit Court in Batesville, according to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. Former Arkansas Attorney General Dustin McDaniel and two co-counsels cited an unspecified “irreconcilable conflict” and also said Biden’s “personal attorney” had “advised undersigned counsel of discharge,” the paper said. Although Biden, 49, didn’t attend the hearing, the woman who’s suing him – Lunden Alexis Roberts, 28 – sat in the front row of the gallery, wearing a striking, black and white outfit and three-inch heels, according to the Daily Mail. Afterward, Roberts and her father left the courthouse without comment, the Mail said. Last week, The Post exclusively revealed that Biden was regular at a Washington, DC, strip club where Roberts performed under the stage name “Dallas” around the time that he broke up with his late brother’s widow. Roberts sued Biden in May over the child she gave birth to in August 2018. She’s seeking child support and more than $11,000 in attorney’s fees and court costs. Although Biden initially denied having had sex with Roberts, she filed court papers last month that said DNA testing proved his paternity “with scientific certainty.” In response, Biden filed court papers that said he was “not contesting paternity” but needed more time to “consult with his accountants.” https://pagesix.com/2019/12/02/hunter-bidens-lawyers-want-to-pull-out-of-his-paternity-case/
Hunter not doing very well in regard to producing financial information for the Arkansas court. He might want to pull some of that info together and keep it orgranized because he is going to be asked for the same info at the Senate trial before long. Judge said he "didn't have any contact information for Biden." Classy bunch, the Bidens. https://arktimes.com/arkansas-blog/2019/12/03/judge-lays-down-the-law-in-hunter-biden-paternity-case
Joe says he will no-show, presumably even if subpoenaed. Okay. Might want to start finding a legal reason why you are special. You can always plead the fifth if you go, but flat-out not appearing. Ahh. no. Oh, and find a legal rationale for your crackhead son too while you are at it. I am guessing he is going to play the old game of having his attorney tell congress/the court that he is in rehab and that his testimony is not critical to anything. It's what scumbags do. Let the games begin. The demtards want an impeachment trial. We can do that. All the dem candidates probably feel like this https://thehill.com/hilltv/rising/4...ls-hits-biden-over-riding-on-obamas-coattails Top Sanders campaign aide hits Biden, saying no one should be able to ride on Obama's coattails A top 2020 campaign official for Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) criticized fellow White House hopeful Joe Biden on Thursday, accusing the former vice president of largely riding on former President Obama’s legacy, particularly when it comes to the support of African-American voters. “No one should be able to ride the coattails of the first African-American president,” Nina Turner, co-chairwoman of Sanders's presidential campaign, said on Hill.TV, referring to Biden. “You need to earn the black vote every single time that you run,” she added. The Biden campaign didn't immediately respond to Hill.TV's request for comment. Black voters are considered a crucial Democratic voting bloc, particularly in states like South Carolina where they make up a significant proportion of the electorate. Biden maintains a strong lead in South Carolina, at 35 percent support in the RealClearPolitics average. He's followed by Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) at 16.3 percent and Sanders at 12.8 percent. South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg (D) is in fourth place at 6.5 percent. Turner on Thursday attributed Biden’s strong support within the African-American community, particularly among older black voters to “short memories,” and “not a true understanding of the history,” alluding to Biden’s criminal justice record. “In the African-American community, especially among older voters, is a reverence for President Barack Obama and this whole notion that if Vice President Biden was good enough for President Obama, he should be good enough for us,” she said. Turner also lamented that black voters are often overlooked unless it’s a presidential election cycle, calling it a “wake up call” for the community as a whole, but maintained that Sanders is "not taking anything for granted." "We are out there knocking [on] doors, making the phone calls, the senator himself has come to that state," she told Hill.TV, citing Sanders's recent trip to South Carolina over the weekend.
