Biden 2020

  1. Does Warren pick a white guy or a black guy as VP? Is there any chance she would actually pick a woman as VP?

Also, I have someone wanting to make a bet with me on who will drop out of the race first, O'Rouke or Gabbard. I think they are both crazy. O'Rouke has the bankroll to keep going because of his wealthy father-in-law and he just enjoys campaigning, traveling, and standing on tables in coffee shops. Gabbard drops out first, right???? There is internal pressure mounting within the Democratic Party to get rid of Beto. I don't know if this will convince him to drop out before Gabbard. The bet is not a large amount but I would still like a second opinion.

  2. There is/has been zero doubt in my mind that Warren has been grooming the Castro boy as VP, recognizing among other things, that the hispanic vote is vast now and that white lib voters are fired about hispanic and immigrant voters. The thing that put a dent in that is that the Castro boy has been extra dumb in a couple moves in the debates and fell down in the polls. But she would take him on board in her administration for sure at a minimum. All I can say is, no to a white guy as vp. She is already the whitest person in America. She would like to have Duval Partrick as her VP but he is also from Massachusetts so that gets dicey. I don't rule it out though. And he is working with Bain Capital- think Romney- so that is a no-no although he says he is running some social and climate change spiffy fund.

Just saying who she leans toward- the Castro Boy, Duval Patrick etc- not who she will end up with. I dont think she necessarily controls that. There is a good chance that we will end out with a food fight brokered convention and she will have to take the vp who will satisfy the others if she wants a voting block that they represent. You can be damn sure they dont want a white guy though so "no to the white guy" is the only clarity I see there at this time. Booker of course is the other one who is prostrating himself to be VP so she will go down that road if she has too, although she sees that he is an obnoxious bloviator who doesnt really pull in many votes for anything other than being black so I dont really see it. But no white guys.

Beto may go all the way to the end because he has nothing else to do. But he does not want to go down in history as someone who ultimately did not support the dem party. So at some point - probably it wont be before Super Tuesday in March- he will drop out and add his support to whoever he thinks is going to win.

Tulsi is a much tougher nut to crack. Her numbers are low and she is not going to be the nominee but she knows that she is starting to build sort of a Ron Paul type of cult following, and even though she will not run third party, she likes the talk about it- and just in general the chance to be part of the buzz and raising her profile and influence. And she has no love for warren or biden so is not looking for any chance to be in favor with them- and does not feel the need to swing over and start supporting one of them just because she is losing. So I see her as going all the way to the very end. Maybe trying to make a splash at the convention with a pithy speech or getting into a big fight with them because they wont give her a speaking slot- like that. She may not campaign all the way to the end if she does not have enough cash- but I doubt that she would formally drop out. She will go as long as she is still getting tv interviews. She sees this russian spy bit as coming from establishment dem part of the party so she is more invigorated than ever to use her platform to rail against the dnc duds.

Anyway. no to the white guy. I sort of feel strongly about that.

And the second part about Tulsi and Beto- is just my thoughts. Who knows.

1.Nothing dicey at all about Patrick. If in the unlikely event she gets the nomination he is by far her best choice for VP.

2.We'll probably reach the point where the Hispanic vote is more important than the black in the future but we aren't at that point yet.Blacks have decided the democrat nominee since 1992 and they decided the last 3 presidential elections with their turnout and will do so again in 2020.I doubt Warren would be stupid enough to pick Castro after seeing Hillarys disastrous VP pick in 2016.

Company with ties to Trump’s brother Robert awarded $33 million government contract

A company in which President Trump’s brother has a financial stake received a $33 million contract from the U.S. Marshals Service earlier this year, an award that has drawn protests from two other bidders, one of which has filed a complaint alleging possible favoritism in the bidding process.

The lucrative government contract, to provide security for federal courthouses and cell blocks, went to CertiPath, a Reston, Va.-based company that has since 2013 been owned in part by a firm linked to Robert S. Trump, the president’s younger brother.

After the contract was awarded, an anonymous rival bidder filed a complaint with the Justice Department’s office of the inspector general, alleging that CertiPath failed to disclose that “one of the President’s closest living relatives stood to benefit financially from the transaction,” according to a copy of the July 22 complaint letter obtained by The Washington Post.

Biden refers to presidential candidate named "Cisneros"... but nobody by that name is running for president.

  10. Biden is probably referring to Beto O’Rourke.
