Joe Biden’s presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) raised nearly $81 million dollars in May, marking their single best month of fundraising for the 2020 cycle. Biden’s campaign and the DNC, which have combined their fundraising efforts, raked in $80.8 million last month. The staggering financial haul suggests that political fundraising may be rebounding after a drop off in April, when the economic toll from the coronavirus pandemic worsened. That month, Biden and the DNC raised about $60.5 million. The latest fundraising figures surpass Biden and the DNC’s previous monthly high of $79 million set in March. But the May fundraising numbers also illustrate the impact of the Biden Victory Fund, the joint fundraising committee set up between the Biden campaign and the DNC. That partnership was announced in late April. The Biden campaign said that half of those who contributed in May were new donors. The average online donation to the campaign last month was $30. The latest fundraising haul comes as polls show Biden with a widening lead over President Trump, both nationally and in key battleground states. One CNN national poll released last week showed the former vice president leading by 14 points. The Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee (RNC) haven’t yet announced their fundraising numbers for May, though they have to file their financial reports with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) by June 20. In April, Trump and the RNC raised $61.7 million, narrowly beating out Biden and the DNC for the month. But they also ended April with a massive cash-on-hand advantage, reporting more than $255 million in the bank.
This is a reason why the Dems are not a lock because they keep trying so hard to look woke simply for votes and favor. A burial flag is for those who died serving the country, most often military. Floyd was a victim of police force to caused his death. The Dems are trying way too hard to play all their cards for photo ops and to look woke and to get all these votes of people maybe already disposed to vote Dem. Biden needs to be very careful because as many Republicans who are fed up with Trump and his bullshit, they would rather have the bullshit and lies and pussy they know then go the other way and get this below for 4 years (Devil You Know kind of thing). I think what is going on in Seattle and this action below shows the Dems are losing a sense of reality in what it will take to win in November....
https://www.forbes.com/sites/andrew...ssoff-narrowly-ahead-in-georgia/#6c163b5d6857 Poll Puts Biden, Ossoff Narrowly Ahead In Georgia A new poll released Tuesday has former Vice President Joe Biden and Democratic Senate candidate Jon Ossoff marginally ahead in Georgia, a departure from the state’s usual Republican tint and one that would plunge President Trump’s electoral map into chaos. KEY FACTS The poll of 661 registered voters, conducted by Public Policy Polling between June 12 and 13, put Biden 2 points ahead of Trump in Georgia, where most polls have shown Trump leading narrowly. The Peach State voted for Trump by 5 points in 2016, down from an 8 point victory for Romney in 2012, one of the few states to shift Democratic in 2016 thanks in large part to changing demographics and increased Democratic strength among suburban voters. One reason for Trump’s weakness is his approval rating in the state, which is underwater by 3 points amid a rise in coronavirus cases and some of the fiercest George Floyd protests in the country. Further down the ballot, Democratic Senate candidate Jon Ossoff, who won 52% in the state’s primary last week, narrowly avoiding a runoff, leads incumbent GOP Senator David Perdue by 1 point, 45% to 44%. Perdue’s approval rating is underwater by 6 points, while his fellow Senator Kelly Loeffler, a Republican who faces a fierce intra-party challenge from Rep. Doug Collins, is down by 19 points. A win by Ossoff would make him the first Democratic senator in the state in 15 years. Key Background Trump’s numbers have plummeted since the coronavirus outbreak began, especially in key states. That trend was further compounded by Trump’s response to civil unrest in the wake of George Floyd’s death. He trails in most swing states he won in 2016, like Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Florida, with a new poll of Michigan putting him down 16 points. But polls also show him vulnerable in typically Republican-leaning states like Texas, Ohio and North Carolina, while Biden consistently leads by healthy margins in Arizona. Chief Critic Trump has lashed out at bad polling in recent weeks. His campaign sent a letter to CNN last week demanding they retract a poll showing Biden up 14 points and apologize. GOP officials have taken a different tack, rejecting the accuracy of polls in general. Surprising Fact One other reliably Republican state where Trump leads narrowly in the polls is Arkansas, which he won by 27 points in 2016. A poll from Hendrix College released Sunday put him up just 2 points in the state. While experts are skeptical that Trump’s lead is truly that narrow, it is nonetheless a grave sign for him. What To Watch For With more and more polls showing tight races in states like Georgia and Texas, which are absolutely critical for any Republican electoral college victory, Trump will have to decide whether to divert resources from states like Michigan and Wisconsin to cover his flank. Trump has already been spending heavily in Ohio, which he won by 8 points in 2016 but where a recent Fox News poll has him down by 2 points. Biden can win the electoral college without Ohio, but no Republican has ever won the presidency without it.
LOL!!!! Trump will have to take money and time from Michigan,Pennsylvania and Wisconsin to try to defend states Like Georgia,Texas,Arizona,Iowa and Arkansas LOL
Biden + 16 in MI The damage done to President Donald Trump's standing in Michigan following recent protests outside the White House and in cities across the U.S. may have been even greater than originally believed, a new poll released to the Free Press said Tuesday. Two weeks ago, EPIC-MRA of Lansing, a polling firm that does work for the Free Press, released a survey showing former Vice President Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic nominee, leading Trump 53%-41% in Michigan, a 12-point edge. But a second poll, started on May 31, a day after the first poll began, and concluded a day later than the first poll, on June 4, showed Biden leading Trump 55%-39% in Michigan, a 16-point margin. As it did for the first poll, EPIC-MRA surveyed 600 randomly selected likely voters for the second one, which had a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points. The second poll also showed: The percentage of Michiganders surveyed who believe the country is headed in the wrong direction increased from 63% in the first survey to 70% in the second. The percentage who believe the U.S. is headed in the right direction fell from 30% to 22%. The percentage of those with a negative view of Trump as president rose from 56% to 61%, as the percentage of those with a positive view fell from 42% to 38%. While the same number, 51%, said they would vote to replace Trump in November, the percentage saying they would vote to reelect him fell, from 38% to 33%. The percentage of those saying they would consider voting for someone other than the president rose from 8% to 13%. While it's not known for certain what caused the change, the second survey added a day of polling in the immediate aftermath of law enforcement and military personnel on June 1 forcefully clearing peaceful protesters from a public square outside the White House. They used pepper spray and smoke canisters to move the crowd so Trump could have his photo taken holding a Bible outside St. John's Church, which had been damaged in another protest.
