Coverage of Kavanaugh's "situation" went media-wide and became the focus of the country for an absurd length of time and they attempted to destroy him and his family and his career upon little or no evidence. As long as the same happens to Biden, I will have no quarrels. Let's just guess though that the attempt to suppress or reframe it is more than just a NYT issue. The only way this will change is if the dems think they have a plan to replace Joe, in which case the word will go out to use this to take him down. Right now though, they dont see the avenue to do that- yet. We may get some brisk protests from Bernie supporters calling other dems moral cowards for not standing up for metoo women etc. There will be some of that.
