Im new to trading, trying to learn, trying not to lose as much as I win every week, which has been happening. My question is , in reading a daytrading book, it talked of spreads of 1/8 and 1/16 as being small?? when I look at spreads I only see 1 maybe two cent spreads. was there wider spreads in the 80's and 90's as apposed to 2007 or am I missing something or alot of things?
What do we do now? Reminisce my man, reminisce. You used to be able to sit on both the bid and offer in a cheap stock and print money in 1/8 th increments on thick stocks.
