This is exactly correct. In Eastern Europe and Asia... The "political elite" are above the law... And it is their "right" to control and rape the country. Human life is cheap = zero value. Benazir Bhutto and, say, Yulia Tymoshenko the new PM of Ukraine... Are very, very similar... Both mega-rich oligarphs... USING "populism" in order to secure their wealth... And to secure the position of their "clan". It's a life long game... And is the norm over there... But completely not understandable to someone born and living in North America.
Nobody should be surprised that Bhutto was killed. What happens next? Not really a "democracy" over there!
