i never said i was profitable but a good trade is a good trade.....just because it is a fluke does not mean the trade was bad
Oh come on dude, there are dozens of posts here claiming you are profitable ... Sure, but 1 good trade versus 10 bad ones? That would still be a bad situation to be in. You should know by now that a few good trades or a few good day's or weeks don't mean you became profitable. It seems like you are going in the right direction, hopefully you can keep yourself under control and don't start to martingale again.
at any given point can anyone tell me 'from here the market is supposed to do this' if i know what it is supposed to do then i can take a trading decision. after that if the market does not do, what it is supposed to do, then i can exit. now i have no clue what it is supposed to, then i will never know where i am wrong and so i cannot put a stop in the right place and it will trigger even when i am right. that is what i set out to learn from first....what is the market supposed to do till today i have no clue
that is good question i like many others started doing this to help others. throughout my life that was the biggest mistake i made. thinking i can help others. but to do that i have come to the conclusion that i have to do a 'brooks' and write thousands of pages. it is a real challenge to teach others. but now i am thinking i have to help myself.....because inflation has become so much that i will starve if i dont. This was not the case earlier. all my life i never had to make money. that maybe why my trading was so flippant. it was carelessness. but the plus side of this is now i have the knowledge. and i am going to help myself . and focus on my trading. going to close this journal and posting on ET too. that is the best way to help myself. i do not think i can add value here. either to myself or to others.
Hello padutrader, I am glad you are closing this journal sir and focusing more on your live trading to become a profitable consistent day trader. This journal is useless and complete waste of your precious time in life. It's about making money. Make money first, then help others. If you truly want to help others, make money first, then help others. Trying to help others in trading without a proven valid trading track record is stupid because you can do more damage to the trader you trying to help then good. Produce a valid money making track records you can show others before trying to help.
I think you are making trading too complicated. You do not need to write 1000 pages like Brooks to trade well or teach. Your trading plan should be concise and fit 1 page of paper, otherwise it is overly complicated/ prone to mistakes due to too many rules. Just focus on a few simple rules and 1 strategy that works. But you need to be extra selective and very patient. It is very nice of you to try to help others.
Hello Padutrader, Good thinking sir. You are doing the professional thing by stop posting on ET and trying to help people. If you want to help someone, show them how to make money INSTANTLY. All that other talk is bullshit, nobody trying hear all that shit man. If you can't show nobody how to make money, get lost man. Help people once you can prove either of the two below. Otherwise, you can not help anyone. People want to read from money makers. This is why I do not post trying to help anyone on the ET forum cause I can not produce either of the 2 below yet. I am still working on that. So need for me to help someone because I can provide them incorrect information. I am a non consistent profitable trader, so I have no business offer help to inspiring traders. Only my algo I developed makes money this year. But manual trading I am still working on that. And to be honest, that algo trading shit, is a waste of damn time for us retail traders. Can not make no money with that shit man. But I do it cause I have good programming skills. Like Steven Dux, he can give advice cause he makes the real money and no talking around. You can not. And look at Vinny Emini results. These two traders not about no bullshit. I only listen to them. Al Brooks is good for theory and learning on your own, but you will need more, I think. Brooks is cool. You do not have to follow these folks, you can stick to Al Brooks teachings. But these are examples of real traders. They do not have time to be on ET arguing and bullshitting. So only return to talk when you have similar results below.
