Your statements is correct on Brooks. I had to realize that Brooks just tech price action concept. No matter how many times I watch the video, I had to figure out what works for me day to day and go for it my way.
"Most days are ranging, some days are trending. If yesterday was ranging, there is a good chance today is ranging." It probably isn't what he said, but it's sort of what I took from it.
have you not read this thread title. i do not use his setups for entry.......i put a stop at a place where i never let it get hit ,unless a iiliquid spike comes...and i normally close well before it hits. all i do is wait for range buy at the low of the range or sell at top of range. i do not like trends because usually the trends are slower and i do not like waiting for it to grind up.once the trend broadens and a range develops then i look for entry......... this is not following someone religiously ....but rather following technical common sense religiously. you can see the results that have posted. and i will not trade forex if you put a gun to my head.i am happy top get a chance to trade other markets now
a journal is to record my trades...not to help others...they are beyond help and i have to answer a thousand questions if i suggest something and i post when i have time once i log in to my trade account i log out of ET.......i do not want to be thinking of anything but trading
FALSE! The only reasons to post a journal on a public forum like this are the following... 1. You wish to brag and attempt to suck people into a scheme that you are formulating. 2. To simply show what you are doing and are doing so with no ulterior motive. You are just being generous with your time, and are attempting to help others generate trading ideas based upon your own examples of the trades you have made. 3. To simply show what you are doing with your trading, to request feedback from other traders who may help you along your journey if ye be struggling. If you wish to record your trades, it does not have to be done on a public forum. You can do that yourself. Posting your trade journal on a public forum is serving a purpose you think will impact the public, i.e. OTHER PEOPLE. Flom.
that is not what ET says posts do not help others....only they can help themselves.....i am doing it to kill time
Not really. I have like 3 non bot followers on twitter I don't tweet for them, I tweet for myself. You need to express yourself.
