That is totally not true. Next time at a store, look at the Kraft Mac n'n Cheese regular style box, parked right next to the "Kiddie" shapes. The boxes are exactly the same size, cost the same price, but the kiddie boxes have 1.75 oz less product in them.
Maybe not. That's why they have this label "The product is sold by weight not by volume" on all of those boxes so even if you notice you won't question what you noticed.
What they should have is a label that reads " We are removing product and making the box bigger, because you are too stupid to understand math, and never read the fine print, like this. Therefore we will continue to gouge your wallet while you are blissfully unaware of how a company increases profit levels. Now go outside and get some air." Make that fine print small enough? Nobody will even notice it.
