Better to be Wide or Deep?

    if you are an investor then being broad and allocating your money across asset classes and instruments makes total sense.

    I agreed. I have about 4 different futures instrument up. When my favorite YM/NQ is too choppy I get on a futures contract that's more trending. There's always a good move somewhere. I find it's hard to scalp micro-move in a trendless market unless you are hyperfocused and go balls deep as you've said.

    Otherwise, you can just buy another instrument that is trending and just ride it and be more relaxed..

    Agree ;deep more than wide. I dont want to watch 500 stocks or even 100 @ a time; thats why SPYor QQQ is a good benchmark....... Of course if one gets paid on the gross+ many funds do ; wide + deep is fine.....
