Best way to find stocks trading with high volatility?

What's the best way(or software) to find stock trading at high or relatively high volatility for short term periods such as day or hour?

 

I know someone here likes trading fast moving stocks. Should i be asking in a different forum?

 

Most charting packages have scanners, or you can get something like Trade-Ideas.

 

What platform are you trading off of now? Many have short time-frame screeners built in.

 

Why are you bothering?

I thought you never had a losing trade.

StockVision allows you to run very customized scans for volatility.

 

The best thing to do is go long something, which will pretty much guarantee a huge downside move. Reverse for upside.

This has the advantage of giving you the heads up before any scanner
