Am i right when you say you trade futures using raw data, is that trading with ladders? to give you your patterns/edge if so maybe a little like i trade as i am looking for patterns on my Fx pair trade which reoccur during the trading day. Toothpicks?
so of data is analog as we get it but it can be digitized into consistent blocks to make sense of the data. a type of filtering the data, so that the data actually becomes the indicator. toothpicks = money, a more sane way of looking at the money when you trade. the money doesn't matter basically. m
I would imagine those that are the most popular, along with the most used time frame, then waiting for a reversal on profitable positions within that.
Thanks Mark, A little to out of the box for me , i just monitor price action /pattern recognition/and levels on the chart. Hopefully we both get the same outcome.
In technical analysis, some commonly used indicators include moving averages for trend identification, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) for measuring overbought or oversold conditions, and Bollinger Bands for assessing volatility and potential reversal points. I also use ATR to measure volatility
%% Good but i dont use RSI; I also like ''SUPER -Trend'' indicator, ; not saying its much or RSI is much ; but good name on Super Trend LOL
