Lawrence Chan has done some amazing work both analytically and software programming not to mention any published works, I don't know many in the trading business that have such diverse abilities. As far as animosity to vendors that seem to preoccupy this cesspool of mentally unfit dreamers hiding behind screen names I have an awakening. If you use quotes, trading platform, forums, books, magazines, videos, emails, phone and much more all require a vendor. Without vendors none of any of you would be much more than a pile of useless material.
I do not know. My edition is from 2003 and I regard it similar to a factory technical service repair manual of a high performance automobile. It breaks down and breaks out market microstructure that is certain to generate insight. The taxonomy of trader types puts a spotlight on the playing field so that one isn’t running around in the dark anymore -clueless. It’s essential foundational material without fluff.
I haven’t gotten into the other authors yet, and Perry Kaufman’s work is substantive. I picked it up after you had mentioned it many moons ago. Lot’s of math and get’s into a variety of trading methods with detail. Looking forward to getting it into my active reading queue. My current focus is on Jack Hershey’s method which is by far the hardest nut I’ve had to crack. It has a perspective, depth and nuance that is unparalleled and delivers results that I have yet to see anything come close to producing. It’s not for everybody and it’s mindblowningly free deep in the archives. The cost is diligently thinking through unique concepts which seems like a cost too high to bear for many a wannabe, those with fossilized minds and other with a ‘crabs in a bucket’ mentality. I’ve experienced an acceleration of personal and progressional growth through applying the material. Oh well,... we all sleep in the bed of our own making. Back to Kaufman, Thank you for the quality recommendation.
so Stocks777 you changed your name - why did you do that? still driving that school bus? guess it will be this evening before you can respond.
