Best Software to Keep Track of All Profits/Losses

What do you all suggest one uses to record/log any profits made from stock, futures, etc. in a day? Quicken?

 

Excel.

 

I use Gainskeeper but it's provided by my broker for free. Generates custom reports as well as P&L tracking.

I'm not an Excel whiz. Where can I get a good template that can calculate real return (after commission, margin interest, withdrawal, etc.) and P/L? Thanks!

 

Someone know about a software like tradelog or gainskeeper that will work with canadian taxe filling ?
