Just moved to Hoboken, NJ actually last week. Saving myself a lot on taxes now while cutting my commute time in half (work in Jersey City). Dont know why I didnt think of this sooner
I lived in Hoboken for a year. I loved it! Lived right on Washington St. As Frank Sinatra would say, "That's my kind of town".
I live on River st, 2 blocks over from Washington. Great view of the Manhattan skyline from my balcony.
Why not invest in rehabs, you can buy cheap and sell high or you can just do short term private funding and gain a quick high return. The property can be held as collateral so there is no risk. If you are interested let me know.
Are you insane? Stop suggesting rehabs when you have never done one. rehabs aren't an investment, its WORK.
