best sci-fi movies

2001: A Space Odyssey.

 

yes excellent movie. I also like the second one space 2010 a little more easy to understand.

solaris 2002 is a movies I would liek to see. seems interesting

 

if you haven't seen the original version by Tarkovsky, check it out... its much better than Soderbergh's.

adding Alien to your list.

 

Aliens...the second one where Ripley does a Rambo on the Queen.
