Before September 2002, there was no 25,000 Minimum rule.. it's the daytrader's problem if they can't. trade. 10K or 25K won't make any difference if the daytrader gambles. rather now they borrow money from credit cards to get the 25K to daytrade or open an account to daytrade. if you can't make money daytrading with 10K I doubt you can make money daytrading with 25K
vectors101, i could'nt agree more. that 25k pdt rule is absurd and hurts a new trader. let a guy with 5k trade 4-1 and he will learn the ropes,why learn the ropes with 25k and have him trade 4-1(100k). he will blow up.
