To the OP - Move to Nanaimo, its just a quick ferry ride over and its a beautiful place to live. (not to mention, pretty cheap)

  2. Near downtown I like Yaletown area. Public transit is good for getting into downtown core. Itis just S.E. of downtown. Tons of new condos squeezed into that area. Some on here may appreciate its closeness to the Penthouse or the Cecil :D

Also further west of Yaletown (west side of Burrard) near Nelson, Drake Sts. is Beaches. Lots of older apartment buildings there and near the ocean FWIW.

    Never lived there just visited.

I understand that Surrey is the armpit of BC?

  5. Move to Calgary instead, you'll save yourself 5 months of straight rain and grey.

Yaletown people generally suck and the West End is full of miserable people who think the world is against them. Too alternative for me. Very beautiful though.
