Hello everyone, Who is the best broker for investing in bonds? I'm looking for someone with a good inventory. I have an account now through Action Direct (through RBC in Canada) and they are quite possibly the worst..... Is IB any good for bonds?? Thanks, mnx
http://www.interactivebrokers.com/cgi-pub/bondsDisplay.pl?einfo=usBondDesk2&file=BONDDESK_bonds.html yeah, IB is perfect. comm are cheap and they give you direct access to market. you will be able to buy\sell them without BS full service broker's markups. inventory was good for corporates, no munies. also data is free, some other bastards can charge you as much as $5 per request for bond price.
cool. thanks for the link!!!!! That list is just corporate bonds... IS there access to US T-notes? Action direct didn't carry anything past apr-2006 which is total crap!! Any other opinions on IB or other brokers?? mnx
