My brothers girlfriend lives in London and is moving home to Ontario in May. Since the pound has made large gains against the Canadian dollar she wants to convert her pounds. I am trying to convince her to open and interactivebrokers account but if she won't do that what are her best options in London? Are there any good currency shops that will beat the banks price? What bank usually has the best price?
Opening up a Interactive Brokers account is by far the best option imho. Changes are you will pay a load more with other options.
