Yes... Right... I did not even know back in 2020 that a vertical mouse existed... But my wrist pain made me do research and I finally stumbled across them and I was amazed at how within a couple of days of use... No pain... and relaxed wrist and arm ever since.
Wired? I prefer wireless, both for keyboard and mouse (as I' a bit paranoid I do keep a cheap wired set fof keyboard and mouse in case there's any problem, but normally there isn't).
To paraphrase another saying ... if it hurts the way you are doing it, you are doing it wrong. Simple. And yes I use my ordinary wireless Logitech many hours of many days for many, many years now with zero issue - other than they wear out eventually - but importantly my hand and wrist doesn't.
