For scalping the best pair in my opinion is EURUSD since they have higher liquidity and lower volatility. It is also suitable for my broker FP Markets since their spreads average at 0.1 and stable when the market conditions are volatile.
I prefer using the GBPUSD or EURUSD pairs for sclaping because the spreads in these pairs average at 0.3 and their liquidity is higher, which is suitable for my broker FP Markets because the spreads in my brokers are stable even when the market is highly volatile, which is an advantage for me.
Both are paired with the USD so can be good for shorting these days as the USD is already making highs due to the uncertainty of war conditions.
Scalping needs momentum and the latter happens everywhere when there is a pressure from large buyers and in obvious short-term trends, usually it goes hand in hand with elevated volatility. So watch for an action if you look for good market for a scalping.
Most I trade on EURUSD for scalping trading in my FXOpen trading account, because this is major pair and low spread, high volatility market sometimes give more return but risk too.
Risk in trading is indeed sometimes inevitable, will or not when traders face loss we must accept it as part of trading, although target scalping only 5-10 pips, bad entries could make order dragged in floating, the risk-reward ratio still needed to manage the risk.
