I want to "have my cake and eat it too" -- I want to have cheap overhead & pay low commissions; and at the same time have the best tools available (with all important bells and whistles) A few things about my requirements: I'll be opening a $25-$75k margin account that I will use for momentum/day/swing/position trading of stocks and options. (not too much scalping/momentum though) I have NO interest in furures or forex. I am switching from Zecco and Scottrade and want to have a reliable (standalone windows app/java app) platform. Has anyone had any success using the best-of-breed solution ?where you get your data from someone, but you do the trades with someone else? (I am interested in some level of automation, integration and low commissions) I am interested in hearing both success and failure stories, any lessons I can take from your experiences would be greatly appreciated!
