What is the best monitor card to use to run 4 monitors on Win98 and what is the approximate cost for such a thing? Thanks.
The great thing about win98 is there a lot of old multimonitor cards for sale on ebay that work great with it but won't work with xp. It depends on whether you have an agp video card or not, but what you can do is get a couple of decent dual head cards and run them together, get a quad card, or just fill up your pci slots with single cards. I would look at the appian cards or matrox. Usually this works pretty easily but sometimes there are issues with it. There are numerous threads here dealing with this question.
