About three months ago, I visited a local Herman Miller dealer. I sat in both the Aaeron and the HM Mirra chair. They were so close, I decided on the Herman Miller Mirra chair. It was a little less pricey as well. Fast forward three months, the chair is great!
Having a comfortable chair is very important if you are trading full-time. Those that do trade full-time, understand this. Those that do not, make posts like 'How much for a chair?'. Good thread, there's a few others on ET as well about the Herman chairs as well.
Bought one these in '98...ass has been happy ever since. http://www.relaxtheback.com/lifeform-ultimate-high-back-executive-chair-product-6370243
The more I've thought about it, the more I think I'd do better if I had a nice comfortable place to sit. I've gone through 8 $200.00 chairs in 10 years, plus the fact that I can't sit for more than 45 min at a time. I'm going to take the 2 week try it plan and see if it helps. I'll consider my purchase and "investment".
I've spent a lot of time sitting in the Aeron and I recommend the Steelcase Leap instead, as long as you have an air conditioned office. Here's an earlier post I made on the topic: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=1402088#post1402088 Martin
Yes the Leap opens up another possibility... http://store.steelcase.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=LLEX And in white, that chair is sexy...
