You really don't need to buy a gaming computer for trading. Trading screens are not graphics intensive nor does a data feed use much ram or cpu power.

Due to my internet connection and other reasons I use Speedy trading servers for my trading. I have never had any issues using their "medium" VPS . The computer specs?
    • 1 Xeon Core
    • 1.5 GB of RAM
    • 50 GB SSD disk
    • 1 Gb/s link
    • Windows Server
I have never had any lag issues trading the 6E with 4 charts up.

Why spend for a Mac and then run windows?

Because macOSx is way better for everyday use and Windows is better for trading. Seems obvious to me. Best of both worlds.

"Note that in order to take advantage of SLI, you will need to plug in both of the included power supplies simultaneously."

Why does a laptop need two power cords?

This has all the bells and whistles, play so many games, forget why I bought it. Definitely get the fingerprint app to turn it on and that other app to see where the machine is if stolen.
