"The mid-term eMini S&P Chart (16807) is showing the creation of a short term top up here.

The market may continue going up, but maybe it won't.

If we can't breach 1103.50 then a challenge of 1066.50 is eminent.

If it doesn't go up and it goes down, then it may continue going down, but maybe it won't.

This was posted to over 500 traders, the evening of February 2nd, 2010. We failed to breach 1103.50 by creating the resistance oscillation at 1101.50 at 3:21 pm EST on the 2nd and again confirmed it at 2:21 am with the oscillation failure at 1100.00 on the 3rd.

I sent this crap out to all the suckers that think I'm a guru for predicting the obvious. I write down the times, in case I'm right. I also spent years developing a system for predicting the obvious, if the market is not going up, then it's going down.

I don't post many set ups because there aren't many that were this clear.

I add suspense to my "indicators" by sending them out periodically.

  2. LOL I have become convinced that there is a small but vocal group of traders here who specialize in DISINFORMATION.

The ergotic code is free. Why not code the indicator and see how it works.

    Caveat Emptor:)

  3. Obviously the word "eminent" was to large for you to understand and the content of the post was too objective for you to comprehend.

How much of this recent 97.50 point S&P pull back did you profit from?

  4. That would be too easy, huh.
Hell, I give my indicator away for fee. I've given it away to over 100 people here on ET over the last 6 years.
One guy sent me a customized version of it Monday that he programmed that labels the entries and exits. Took him 3 weeks to complete it and it hits about 2 to 3 trades a day at 85%.

Great point. Why does ET never result in anything actual just folks tradiing insults and pontificating?

How about everyone taking one standard data set: 5 min S&P or whatever, for a defined time period, code you favorite indicators into an actual trading system and post the resutls here. Then debate and trade insults?

Not as much fun and it would involve actual work....ahh, forget it.

Not sure what you mean by 'best'.

It depends on what kind of information you want to extract and how you use it as part of a larger strategy.

Having said that, I have found a 25 sma, 50 sma, 100 sma and when I just want to go all crazy using a 200 sma :)

I have found that these and the candlestick representation of price gives me as clear a idea as anything else I have tried.

    Happy trading. :)
