    Okay, here it is...

Which is the best futures prop firm in Chicago that trades purely on the screen?

Think low turnover/high tenure, consistently profitable, nice and open working environment, open flow of information, ahead of the tech curve, most volume, possibly even a training program in place, and most importantly SUCCESSFUL TRADERS.

Ha, very. Seriously though, does no one have an opinion? Which of the chicago futures shops are most successful?

  4. You need to consider several things when looking at prop shops.

    consider:

training offered, what instruments / products they'll allow you to trade, leverage offered, payout you'll recieve and the quality of the front end trading system they offer.

Your likely hood of succeeding in trading can be greatly influenced by the execution software you use.

Ok, Agreed, but are any of these places using anything other than the latest version of TT's front-end? If not, can there be a speed difference purely on how a particular firm's network infrastructure is set up, all else being equal?

Momo, why do you say Geneva and Jump? What is it that you know or have heard that makes them more successful than others?

  6. Trading is an individual sport.

There's firms with great traders like Gelber, Transmarket and Tradelink. There's also guys who washout at those same shops everyday.

A top firm is more about culture than who's employing the newest version of TT.

Compare London's McFutures to Chicago's ill-fated Refco counterpart. Sometimes an entire room either get's it or not.

At the end of the day though it's all about your p/l .
